Ensure your moustache wax is warm. Rumour has it that Captain Fawcett always kept a jar in his dress trouser pocket.
First comb your moustache, then with your finger and thumb secure a small pinch of said wax, rubbing between forefingers will soften the wax further. Apply wax to the middle of your moustache and evenly rub it in, all the way out to the ends. Groom and dress to suit.
A quick blast with a hair dryer or similar contraception is a wonderfully quick way of removing any errant unsightly wax residue.
